Management Team
President and CEO - Jeff Saponja, P. Eng., MBA. Possesses 16 years experience, with major producing and services companies. Senior manager at Weatherford Canada Partnership from 2001 to 2006. Prior thereto, held positions with Husky Energy in western Canada (1990 to 1995) and Shell UK internationally in the North Sea (1996 to 2000). Extensive expertise in advanced well engineering and operations, including underbalanced drilling and fracture stimulation enhancement.
Senior VP Engineering – Colin Flanagan, P.Eng. A professional engineer with 16 years experience, focused primarily on exploitation and reservoir engineering. Most recently held the position of Manager of Engineering at Real Resources, with prior employment at Elan Energy and Ranger Oil. Expertise lies in reservoir exploitation and development, acquisitions, reserves evaluations, and corporate planning and analysis. Extensive experience in light oil, gas and heavy oil development in most play types across Saskatchewan/Alberta.
VP Operations – Rob Hari. An engineering graduate with 25 years experience, focused primarily on operations (drilling, completions, pipelines and facilities). Western Canada experienced, with recent position as Engineering Manager at Anadarko Corporation Canada. Worked in senior position with AEC Oil & Gas and Cabre Exploration Ltd as their Drilling and Completions Manager. At Texaco Canada Resources was employed as a Production Foreman.
CFO – Dale Cugnet. Mr. Cugnet is a Certified Management Accountant with 20 years of accounting and financial experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Cugnet graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1989 and completed his Certified Management Accountant designation in 1996. Mr. Cugnet was appointed Chief Financial Officer of TriAxon Resources Ltd in July 2006. Prior to joining TriAxon, Mr. Cugnet was Controller of Real Resources Inc from 2002 to 2006. Prior there to and from 1993 to 2002, Mr. Cugnet was employed in various financial and tax positions with Devon Energy Canada and with Arthur Andersen & Company from 1989 to 1993. Mr. Cugnet is a member of the Certified Management Accountants of Alberta and the Certified Management Accountants of Canada. |
